Just wondering how people integrate Keep It into workflows beyond just as a digital filing cabinet. The combination of best in class tagging in Keep It with back linking would make it what seems to me to be an excellent PKM. I emailed the developer about this but haven't heard anything back. It occurred to me that Keep It would be a good PKM app if it just included the back linking capability. I currently use NotePlan as a task manager and note taking app given it also has back linking, but it doesn't have the ability (at least to the degree I desire) to embed (or transclude) other notes or documents, images, etc into a note without duplication. I have played with Obsidian but hate hate hate the Electron foundation. The basic thing that these apps seem to have that differentiates them from regular note taking apps is the ability to create backlinks using wiki style links. Noteplan 2.0 software#
Software LTF577 NOTEPLAN V 1.6.20 3.0.10 Sierra Habitica is a free habit and productivity app that treats your real life like a game. Bear has tasks, but they don't interface with Reminders and Calendar, nor does it show you events for the day from the calendar and reminders apps. Was going to try TaskPaper, but it's too expensive, and doesn't seem to have all the functionality that NotePlan has. Tried using the reminders/scheduling in iMindMap, Curio. I have tried and abandoned several, OmniFocus, Aeon Timeline, Todoist, Things, etc. Well, it fills a void that no app has filled. I'm looking for an organization tool like this. the combination of scheduling, tagging, and (plain text, portable) notes in one place makes it a true productivity tool." - Brett Terpstra, MacStories

I also use Quaver (an community-developed android app) to get an _alright_ mobile experience out of it. I switched to Quiver because it stores my notes in a plaintext library of JSON that I can move across git, gDrive, dropbox or just transfer between devices manually. I was looking for a note taking application where I control my data. What I was still missing… NotePlan Around 2009 I was early to Evernote, Trello, Google Docs, Google Keep, Mind Meister, Meister Task, Dropbox, GQueues and Nimble CRM and in 2017 when Eric from Zenkit hit me up on Twitter I rolled my eyes at yet another todo app based Kanban board.
